Feb 04, 2008 · A husky is an outdoor dog more than an inside dog, a lab may be also, but through experience with friends that have owned a Lab, they could barely keep it outside as it loved to remain in the inside until the children came home from school and things were different.

I have researched a lot about these breeds and I know what the responsibilities are (cost, behaviour of a certain breed that may be unwanted). I have a lot of acreage for lots of dogs to run around. I just need help from you guys with picking a breed.
For the most part, though, the Siberian Retriever’s appearance tends to lean on the Labrador side of things. Oct 15, 2009 · People looking for a watchdog – Although Siberian huskies are a large breed dog, they don’t make good watchdogs. They tend to exit stage left at the first sign of trouble. Someone who wants a quiet dog – Beautiful as they are, Siberian husky dogs are not quiet. Whilst they don’t bark much, they howl and yelp similar to a wolf.
Maybe you should pick a more laid-back breed of dog. With your current situation, I don’t think you can take care of a husky. (Assuming you don’t put them in daycare.
